Students’ Union Scholarship Fund

Description

In 2011 we set up a Scholarship Fund to ensure future students benefit from the Huddersfield experience.  The response from our staff, students, former students, and friends of the University has been overwhelming and for this reason we will be keeping the fund open.

Every £10 you donate through Gift Aid will become £12.50,  we can then use this money to match against the Government’s National Scholarship Programme turning it into £25.00 to support a new student, so please do take this opportunity to help our future students.

Thank you in advance for helping support our future students.

Professor Bob Cryan, Vice-Chancellor

Matt Christie, Students’ Union President

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is a government programme that allows charities to claim back tax on donations.

With Gift Aid, we receive an additional 25 pence from the HM Revenue & Customs for every pound received through a donation.

For example, through Gift Aid, your donation of £10 automatically becomes £12.50.

To have your donation go further, tick the checkbox on the form to use Gift Aid.

To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount we will claim in the tax year.

For more information about Gift Aid, visit the HM Revenue & Customs website.
